I can hear std dv noise

Hi people.I brought a green panel filter the other day and didnt notice any diff really.But last night went out for a drive and now im hearing the dump valve noise witch sounds really nice.It is a standard dump valve the comes on the lcr.Can anyone tell me if it is the panel filter or what as i dont have a clue ??.Thanks

You probably won't feel much difference at all. Maybe slightly more responsive. I didn't feel much when I put mine in. And yes the diverter valve (not dump valve) will sound louder. It is probably worth upgrading the diverter valve to Forge 007p or similar as the OEM is a known weak point.

I ran a Forge 007p DV, Green panel filter and drilled airbox for about a year on my Ibiza FR 20VT and the DV did sound good. I have just removed the airbox and filter and am now running an open cone filter... and it sounds 10 times better. Loads of suck and whistle from the turbo and the DV sounds great. I run my DV reversed too!

it will be your filter sucking in that little more air.

like everyone else says it wont make much difference but just enough.

i would try the new split-r splitter valve from forge. its a recirc and atmospheric dump valve in one
