Hello! Been lurking on here for a while now, only occasionally posting but now things are rolling a bit with this one i thought i'd put up a thread.
Got this a while ago off of Boomhauer (brother ;]) to replace the dreadful clio that was my first car. Kept it standard and hacked it up and down the M5 before finally putting some money into it.
Taken off of another forum:
It's only a 1.4 but it's cheap to insure and goes ok until i can get up my no claims, then i'm hoping to get a bora in about a year maybe. Anyway.
Here's when i first got it off of my brother for a ridiculously silly cheap price.
It stayed like this for most of it's life up until a month or two ago when i decided to drop it down on Weitec springs and shocks:
Unfortunately this gave me a free ticket to reverse rake city, as well as not giving me the lows i was after, so coilovers are now on order. Should be here tomorrow and fitted in time for edition this weekend.
Decided to debadge the back for a cleaner look and take off the front mudflaps for when the coilovers arrive.
Gave it a wash and wax as well today, shiny shiny = ]
And that's as far as i'm at right now. Other than a hi-fi speaker sat behind the passenger seat wired in as a sub ;]. It actually sounds surprisingly good for costing nothing!
Got weitec coilovers being fitted tomorrow so long as all goes to plan *fingers crossed*
And i'm trawling ebay.de to try and get hold of some brock b1's ideally, then that'll probably be all other than trying to get a metal sump guard made up. Leon sumps are pretty low =/.
Coilovers arrived on friday afternoon and managed to get them on the car in time to travel up to edition. These are the only pics i have of the car really. The stance is way way off, i just wanted to get them on really.

Managed to sell the 50mm kit on here for a very good price, and with the discount at dpm on the weitec coilovers, i hardly made a loss at all.

The front has been wound down a fair bit more since then, i literally got the coilovers on hours before i had to leave to get there!

Now looking on ebay.de for some Brock b1's and i'll pretty much be done. I'm not enjoying sporting the current wheels =/. But the tyres are good, and they kinda suit the car in a way... haha. Well, kinda.
Don't want to put much money in this, i'm after a bora in a short while.
Well that's what i say now anyway..
