Hub nut

Just about to change the near side CV boot but want to double check that the hub nut is left hand threaded? Cheers

I dont think they are LH thread, i think its a standard RH thread

Yeah your right Ronin, I found this out after shearing the hub nut earlier.

Going to remove the driveshaft tomorrow to see if I can salvage it.

You can salvage the driveshaft as the CV is pressed on a spline, so you'll just need a new CV joint

That's what i'm hoping, just need to remove the driveshaft and try and remove whats left of the hub nut in there. Fingers crossed I can "easy-out" it as have the CV joint ready
