Hi, I've been wondering, since some of my caps of my Light Aloy wheels are missing or damaged is there an option outside of the regular dealer that I can turn to. Like websites that sell them depending ont he diameter. I don't need the seat logo on them and the dealer price for them is very expensive.:)

do you mean plastic wheel trims?

if so, most moror factors will do them, ie: halfords, motorworld, wilko etc

That's just the thing, all of them don't have them and refer you tot he dealer. Apearantly a few years ago brands started sueing people for using thier "brand and logo" on keychains and wheel trims. So none of them sell them anymore, not even the brandless ones. But if you know a webshop that might have t hem I would be really gratefull :).

But I dont mean normal wheel trims like the big round plastic ones. I mean the small round pieces you put over your alloy wheels pilot hole in the midle. I would link you a picture, but I"m not alowed to place pictures yet. Still a noobie ;).

JUp exactly those :). Well I woudl say 15 inch wheels, but I can see if I have a picture. If not I can make one. BUt IT is jsut the standard wheels on a 1.6 S, doesnt seem to be anything special really.

Oh btw I had my first experience today as you have in the "You know you have a Mk2..." section. Was at a VW Dealership today getting some parts for the interior and the sales clerk kept insisting it was just a seat and not a VW and that the parts wouldnt fit and that I should go to a Seat Dealership.

After dealing with the head mechanic (who just gave me the parts I needed and said it was just a Polo ;)) I drove to the Seat Dealership they mend about 15 kilometers further. It seemed it was the exact same company but then also having a "SEAT" and "SKODA" brand next to thier VW one. After telling them that they send me they replied with the :"oh did they say they couldnt order the parts again?". Which was kinda amusing since I can even have my parts delivered to the closer "VW" one if I order them at the one that is further away. :D.

Found someone who sells them including logo. Thanks for the help, apparently some tire vendor orders the logo's from SEAT and uses white brand caps to fit them in :). Again thanks for the help :D

no probs - if in doubt ask the 'seat' dealer for the part number (or here) and order it from VW if closer

they probabyl can't look up parst specific to marque but by number will be easier

Yeah heh, the funny thing was that it all belonged to the same owner (the guys from the Seat/Skoda/VW dealer that was further away). They check with eachother all the time when they sell cars. Man I'm looking forward to tinkering with my SEAT :D.
