Right, i've trawled through the search for nearly an hour now, checking various threads and different websites, but most of them seem to be extemely dated.
I was wondering, if anyone could recommend a decent HU for a 1.2S Mk4, on a student budget, basically just wanting to be able to plug in the ipod and go, going to keep the standard speakers as they pretty ok IMO. Bluetooth calling would be a bonus, but just rough ideas please.

What HU do you have? Costs etc.:blink:

Cheers :)

google "car audio" and look around the main dealers for prices. I would suggest going with either Pioneer or Alpine if you're into your sounds and are looking to go for an install later on

i paid £180 for my hu, check it out in my signature link ;)

I changed mine today to a sony CDX GT 300 and plug my ipod through the front AUX input. sound good to me. No need to carry 100 cd around and getting them scratched
Got some pioneer 6x9 and components sitting somewhere in the loft, need to look for them now:whistle:
