HPI check help

hi im looking at buying a 04 seat leon 1.9TDI 130 re-mapped to 180 my problem is i live in southern ireland and the car is still a uk reg i cant do a hpi check with my credit card because the uk sites wont accept a southern address can anyone suggest a way around this also let me know what you think http://www.carzone.ie/usedcars/index.cfm?fuseaction=car&carID=872880 i have test driven the car and it most certainly is re-mapped but cant be sure it is 180 any info on car or how to hpi check would be appreciated

some may say lala land....
can you not phone a hpi check company and explain your predicament, or can the dealer not do this for?
how do you know it is re-mapped as either i'm blind or no indication in that advert?

It does say 180bhp in the advert so this would suggest somthing has been done, as it should be 130, although an extra 50bhp seems alot to me from a remap and its not the 150bhp as i think that has all the cupra bumpers and skirts.

paypal? The seller if they're a garage may well have done a Hpi already so you could ask them if they have and if so to see it

finally got hpi check and all clear goin to ask seller for proof of re-map and take it from there. does the price seem ok considering i have to pay 3000euro to change plates on it
