How would 2 cylinder mode sound with a back box removal

I've had a quote today for a new exaust system for my 1.4 EcoTSI 150BHP leon this will entirely remove the back box and will have a new resonator fitted. How does 2 cylinder mode sound with no back box installed I was told it can be very annoying.

I have a straight through exhaust with no resonator and it does sound terrible. Having a resonator might make it a bit better though.
