How to remove "safe" mode from radio?

fitted the amber strobe lights n wired them to the battery, clearly had to disconnect the positive terminal for the radio. Reconnected the terminal and had "2 SAFE" on the radio screen afterward.

Took the car to the dealership to reset the code and they told me to leave the radio on with the igintion on for about an hour, although the book says i need to leave it switched off but connected.

Has anyone had this problem, if so what have you done? Cheers

Yeah? by the sounds of it the standard head unit reduces the quality for the speakers then, im lookin for a decent priced Alpine motorised dvd head unit.

Does the toledo facia adapters fit the Leon to?
