how to re ajust headlight settings

Hello

i noticed that my headlights are unusually low. .

well i looked on the dash and used the control to raise / lower the headlights and it seems to be on 0 (highest setting). how exactly do i re ajust these ? i dont want to take it to the stealer as im pretty sure i will be able to do it myself,im just not sure how.
i drive a Y reg 1.4 ibiza/s cool if that helps atall.

ok guys. i managed to change the adjustment on the bulb housing but, now i have the problem of what do i adjust it to??? is there a height or something i have to go by? i dont want to adjust them too hi and blind on comming traffic as that is a nono. i dont have a tool to get the right angle, so.... any help ???

there are some guides on the net ... but for the time / cost involved i'd just get a MOT station to do them for you ... won't cost more than 20 quid at the VERY most!
