How to change temperature sensor?

hi,
i have been looking but cant find wat im looking for i need to change my tempature sensor i got the part but dont know 100% where it is ment to go i have enclosed a picture of my part,i need a guide with a step by step and maybe a diagram of where to look

If this this the four wire plug (which it looks like) fine the hose that comes from the tip top of the Rad. follow it to the block and it should be there, slide the clip out, remove old sender and refit, remember to use the o ring thou.

Do it when the engine is cold.

I knew this, but in a 'i know the fire is hot but i will put my hand in it anyway' method i ignored my own advice, enter massive coolant spray everywhere!

thanks i have done it this morning coolant leaked everywhere but all woking now i just hope it works as been having problems with low revs when idleing and was told this mite be the cause

This help at all. I changed a similar sensor on mine and later found out it was AC related and it did buggar all with idle.

it hasnt stoped it idelin and stalling but not all a waste of money temp sensor was gone anyway orderd a new dis cap

I think you will be hard pushed on a Sunday, i would say its a dealer job or a scrap yard if you can find one that is open and has a car with one.
