Is that petrol FR or diesel?

My tank costs approx £55 to fill up assuming £1 a litre although SUL/V-power is a little cheaper at moment.

If petrol how on earth are you always managing to get 470-480miles? Dont you rev the car above 3000revs;)

This would also depend on how long the petrol light has been on for before filling up, or are we talking completely empty, coulkd sttill have a £5 left in,might fill it up at a diffent point????

Hard to say isnt it,i never only put £10 in,waste of time as your only gonna have to keep filling up!

Put the lot in for the week instead!!

Gonna have to see how much I can get out of a full tank after I next fill up (still on my first tank of diesel).

Reckon I could do over 550 miles if I only drive to work and back (30 miles of motorway each way).

I get approx 70 miles for a tenner out of my LCR 05, works out about 300-320 miles on a full tank!

I only ever put £20 a time in my LCR unless I'm going somewhere. No point in carrying round the extra weight (!) and I only do about 60-80miles a week.

Aye about 100-120 miles out of a tenner in my TDI110 Leon depending on driving style. I topped my personal best last week after managing to squeeze 556.6 miles out of a tank - admittedly at least 75% of that was motorway driving at a steadying 80-85. I'm pretty sure I glided into the filling station on the fumes mind you...

79 miles out of £20 of fuel a couple of weeks ago, but almost all of it was short journeys and around town. I tried it as a test as I couldn't believe quite how bad it had got. Thats 39 miles out of a tenner, but for most of the journeys the car hadn't barely warmed up by the time I'd finished the journey (and the optimax was £1.04 a litre at the time)

Fully Brimmed is a lot more than £48! Everytime I fill up I am putting in 63-64 Litres..! (Though thats with Venting and also driving 40 miles after computer says Zero  )

With 63L (around £60) I get around 600 miles.
I thought I would be getting nearer 700 as 600 is only about 43mpg.

Just put £10 in as I want to fill it up from tescos (5p/l voucher ftw).
Will see how long before the warning light comes back on (and scares the **** out of me with it's sound!)

If the trip computer is right (not likely) I could get 720 miles from 63l of fuel driving like I did the other day (average MPG was 52)

Never gonna happen though.

Skill.

I need at least 600 miles a week or I'd have to fill up twice a week. I've had 670 before without venting. Now I can vent and get 600 but with a heavier right foot.
