Hi

I have a 51 Seat Cupra R with the following done:

Stage 1 remap
Jetex Filter
Cat back Stainless Exhaust

What sort of boost should I be getting?

Sorry to ask its just I don't think i'm getting what some people have told me but I don't know who is correct

Would also be nice to know what standard boost is

Thanks

Well...

I have just been for a blast and was getting 10psi!!

Tried a different boost guage and was getting 0.9bar

Had vag com on it today to check for errors and nothing came up

All vac hoses are silicon ones I just don't know what the problem is

Has it always had that boost or have you only just fitted a boost gauge and noticed? if you go out in it an boot it then pull over unplug the air mass meter and boot it again if it feels faster you need to replace the maf they dont always throw up fault codes. id say your down on boost tho

Ye I have only just fitted the boost guage and noticed this

I hope its not the MAF as I have just recently replaced it as when I bought it was running in limp mode.

Wouldn't VAG COM pick it up if the MAF was buggered

Cheers i realised that it was not easy to read so just edited my post with an image of it in Excel

Tried it without MAF plugged in and was getting 0.9 bar which not major difference

Can you see anything in the results that would indicate a problem?

Needle in a haystack then

Apart from checking every pipe is there any other way to check for leaks?

Just when i had my g40 i know its a diff car we could cover one of the charger pipes and you would be able to hear any leaks

A mix of washing up liquid and water in a spray bottle then spray it on all pipes and joins, it will bubble if any air leak is found.

this is not a very powerful map tho.. its not askign for more than a bar other than initially, and its seems flatlined 0.7bar... Is the N75 working or plmbed in correctly? a tweaked up actuator could give this..
Its not a stage 1 map of any note with these low settings..
