Cos i'm not sure.

Lots of people on here have the leon splitter on their front ends, and are lowered 40mm. I couldn't imagine having something that low on the car it'd scrape like hell!!!!

what do you reckon?

Also, and i know i should post in qu's section! But when i go over a bump the suspension makes a kinda.......plastic bag being squashed sound. Will be serviced next week, but just wondered what people thought!

The noise could be a shocker top mount.

Thats very low, perhaps 55mm ish?

Its deceptive though because your parked on a slant......

ok, so the things you've suggested, without bugging you, is there a way of fixing them, or is it kinda replacement jobs?

the spax kit that is on the car would not have been my choice

I cant understand how people actually get about with cars that low.

I was in a multistorey car park at the weekend, and my Cupra is standard ride height, standard rims, but has a Leon Cupra R splitter, and it was scraping!

That looks the same height as mine and im on 50mm H&R cup kit, ive got an lcr splitter because it adds a bit of protection to the actual bumper if i do grind out. My splitter is ruined and is in desperate need of replacement but better a £20 peice of plastic than my bumper.

Simon i can get in all of the multi storeys round here but i wont go in one if its in a different town that i dont know, its a bit of a pain but you cant have everything in life.

That seems a very sensible idea.

Gonna look at respraying the bumper anywho cos the collour coding is suspect, but will look at getting a splitter too. EASY TO FIT???

Think the black wheels make it look decievingly low.

Same as you mate, 50mm H&R Cup kit and LCR splitter,
mine rubs a fair bit but like you say, better the splitter than the bumper

Get quite a hard ride tho with this suspension kit

As Russ and others say. H&R cup kit on mine. 40-50mm. Though that looks slightly lower than mine. Probably because im running 17 inch wheels as opposed to 16" standard
LCR Spiltter takes some knocks also, though bumper is fine. Dont mind spending another £20 either :)

Mine with the lcr splitter was a nightmare, took it off, I measured about 75mm clearence splitter to ground at the front!
