How low with 225/40/18 wheels

Ok im going for either a 50 or 30mm eibach spring with koni shock setup, however, im wanting to know if anyone has a 50mm (or more) lowered toledo with 18 inch wheels and has any rubbing problems at all?

Are there going to be issues with ground clearance as the sump is fairly low slung?

Yeh, have allready cracked my sump at standard height, ive seen a 30mm kit on a friends mk4 golf and basicly it looks sky heigh, 50mm would be fine think for me (learned from previous expeience on a polo that 100mm isnt good, however:



Cant say that dosnt look pimp

Oh and sam, do you have any pics of the footwell lighting you installed, i manged to install (a oem looking) orangey/white neon into my passenger foot well, however cat see any space on the driver side

I wouldnt slam your toledo, have a look at how low your sump for your engine is under the car :S

its abit touch and go at the minute, ill just have to wait and see when i get the car. is it the same lowering (suspension kit) as the Leon?????

Yeh, the lowering and tints are photoshopped, i sold those wheels second hand for £330, i think they are £550 new with tyres

And yes toledo is same suspension as the leon and infact the golf MkIV
