all depend what coilovers you have got and also are you replacing the arb with a uprated one as it will hit the driveshaft if it to low and what tires sizes are on the wheels , as you can see there is a few factor you need to look at first before you can ask how low a car will sit

from what I have read from Junior Senior's investigation; at standard ride height the LCR lower control arms are parallel to the ground; the optimal position; and so any lowering is going to lead to less effective geometry. However in lowering you are lowering the centre of mass of the car; meaning that body roll will be reduced and the car will be more stable. Therefore I think the perfect drop is finding the compromise between these factors; so lowest is not always best.

i no that go really low can be worse than standard but as you said a compromise would be good but in favour of going low atm until i go to the ring then i will get it set up for the best handling but for now its only a weekend car so going low is ok i think.

mines lowered 50mm and has been for the past 3 months or so.... havnt had any probs... and doesnt need a new sway bar....

even though mine is lowered 50mm all round my front bumper is still quite high from the floor.... Facelift LC's and LCR's have bigger bumpers and side skirts so if you got a prefacelift like mine your not gonna get the scraping on the floor....
