How low can I go?

Well ive just got a nice shiney new set of rs6 v2 replicas, that are 17 x 7.5 with 205, 45's on and was wondering how low to go without getting too much scrubbing? Ive been getting a couple of little scrubs with standard height.......also im a machinist by trade and just made some 20mm hubcentric spacers and am now unsure about fitting them with the wider wheels my offset is 45 I think......any help much appreciated

Standard offset is 35 all round. On the rear with standard wheels and standard 205-40 tyres (going off my 17" fr wheels) you can go down to et15 (20mm spacer) and all the way down on coilies with no rubbing on the rear.

Id personally say that a 45 profile is far too big for a mk4 ibiza and your gonna get some mega rubbing issues. The wheels on mine now are et35 7.5 inch all round with 20mm spacers on the back but im running 195-40 tyres all round to avoid any rubbing. Could have maybe got away with the standard 205-40 but didnt wanna risk it.

not many people have 18's on there ibiza's because you do need to roll the arches. a guy that was a member on here did it on his cupra http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=144453&page=24 have a look on page 24 post 464
