To change over one of the coil packs???

The one thats causing me bother is the one closest to the gearbox but the big metal boost pipe is in the way, do I need to take this right off the car or can I undo the 2 bolts on the front of the engine and just prise it to the side???

is there any risk of damage to the pipe/coil pack at all if I do it this way???

just undo the two bolts on front of the engine and move the pipe slightly to the right and will give you enough access

undo the two bolts that hold the coil pack down( if they are bolt down ones) - prise the clip off and pull the coil pack out -

i took mine off when i did it.. Only took a couple of minutes..

Probably quicker to do as above.. I'd loosen the hose clip at the end of the boost pipe a little so you can move it easier

yup just need to loosen it, dont need to take it right off.

just make sure you dont drop the nuts when you put it back on....not that ive done that of course lol

cheers peeps, its just the push down packs I have so just a matter of popping them off, need to get it done now, the EML came on today and the pack has really went tits up now, the cars misfiring under the slightest bit of load unfortunatly
