How fast am i going?

Has anyone ever had speedo problems. Mine has started to lose its minds. This has as happened a few times in the last month, my speedo has starteding going loopy, and shaking between 20 and 40mph quite rapidly, than it drops and sites on ten mph and doesnt move.

Is it possible theres a bad connection behind the dash, cause its sometimes fixes if i hit the dash?

sounds like a bad connection behind the dash Check your haynes manual on how to remove the dash behind the steering wheel. Only a couple of bolts and it should come out through your steering wheel
