How does this come off? Removing engine

Need help on this bit.

Does the bottom twist off? It's flimsey as hell and I dont want to snap anything else off it. Looks like it's a plug inside for the the loom.

yes m8 the bottom with the orange stripe will twist off easy enough think it needs to be turned about 3/4 of the way around before it'll come totally off

The centre part twists untill the red line further around it lines up with the one you can see on the bottom of the plug, then it just pulls off (from memory it twists clockwise to undo)

have you taken the front end off to pull it out or you taking it through the bottom of the car? i found it easier to take the front end off then pull it out on the hoist

Be carful with it, and make sure its sealed up nicly when it goes back together, mine caused me no end of electrical problems once water got inside.

no need or point to remove it on the subframe....

as suggested, take the front end off & it'll come straight out the front.
