How do I tell the power output of an Ibiza Sport TDi?!?!?

Guys,

Just a quick question. We are in the process of replacing our Audi TT with something cheaper (house move!) and I am keen to get an Ibiza Sport TDi having previously owned a Leon Cupra TDi and been very impressed with the engine.

Budget is about £7k, and I have seen a couple on Autotrader for around that figure.

I have one important question though: How do I make sure that the car I buy has the 130bhp engine rather than the 100bhp??

I know to look for the obvious external signs (i.e. Red badges etc). Call me cynical, but these can be easily swapped over!

Am I right in thinking that only the 130bhp has the 6 speed box?? This would clear things up nicely!

130 will be 6 speed , 100 , 5 speed thats the easiest way , under the boot carpet will be a sticker with ASZ for a 130 or ATD for 100

you should able to pick up an FR for that, that'll defo have the 130 engine

erm.............drive it would be a pretty good way of telling.

The 100 feels adequate. The 130 feels quick.
