currently hull, then brighton!
Not sure if thats what its called but its the item you would replace with an EIP short shifter or similar, i just want to take the old one off and paint it up.

i can remove everything else with ease but i do not have a pulling tool to get the bracket off the spline, there must be a tecnique i can use here, any ideas?

Done a few searches for this but to no avail!

when you use the bearing puller unscrew the nut that holds the shifter in place up to the top of the thread but leave it on. that way screw part of the bearing puller has more to rest on than just the the top of the bolt.

hope this makes sense?

worked for me as the bearing puller kept losing grip otherwise
