How do i prove CAT 1?

i've seen all the numbers and stuff, quoted them, but not got a piece of paper saying CAT 1 alarm and imob?!?!?

Tesco want some sort of proof!

Its not a Cat 1 its a Cat 2 on the standard alarm.

If it's a CAT1 alarm then you can get a certificate from an alarm installer. They will have to inspect it to confirm it is installed correctly, it cost me £20 about 6 years ago.

EDIT: Thought you had an aftermarket alarm. Tesco should know what the standard equipment is.

they even ask for the certificate for a standard one now, incase you have taken it out, best way to prove it is to go into a SEAT showroom and ask them to write on letterheaded paper confirming it has an alarm. Or if it has an additional alarm the certificate from the person that fitted it.

Just bought the car with standard alarm, but no paper work with the car.

Will need to look in to it!
