There loads of threads in the search but no pics i would like a pic too as i once jacked using the beam dunno if i should of ? i think on the rear you use the ball joint thing where the handbrake cable runs over ?
When i jack mine up i firstly roll the car up on to layers of thick wood to give it that much extra height so that i can jack the car up from a suitable part of the chassis. Not sure if its correct or not but i use the point - front where the wishbones meet the subframe where the big bolt head is and rear i usually do it on the axle with wood to spread the load. All about the garage style jacks last a life time with occasional DIY use and usually super low slung

jack up with the standard jack on the metal ri=unner further back on the car and get a 2 ton trolley jack under the axle then put quickly on axle stands, youll not bend anything once on axle stands..
be careful not to put on axle stands on the floor plan though
I used a trolley jack on mine last month to fit the lower strut brace, as stated above, I rolled the jack under the front sill just behind the front wheel and jacked up on the chassis adjacent to wishbone point. Hope this helps, sorry no pics
anyone who can grab a pic would be so good. i got a trolly jack but it has bent the metal bit under the sill if you get my meaning, and i dunno wheres a good firm place to jack up so i can still put the axel stand under
theres a rubber looking grommet under the sill, jack it on there, i did and its fine, or jack up with a block of wood on the trolley jack anywhere then put your axle stand ther, mine sat on it for hours no probs/
Best thing to do is as above drive the car onto thick planks of wood or a couple of bricks next to each other and then put some wood on top of the cup on jack and jck up on the chassi just back from where it bends down and goes flat. Then use a thick towel and place on top of axle stand and put next to jack on chassi. Don't put axle stand on axle as this can cause future probs, I've seen bent axles because of this
