how do i become a Seat car salesman?

hi

im wondering how i would get a job with seat, im currently studying a-levels and i'm just wondering if anyone knows what qualifications i would need to become a seat salesman? also how i would go about applying for a career at seat?

You don't need any experience, you just need to learn how to sell!

Go to your local dealers and ask is my best advice, thats how I started!

They'll probably pay you a low basic and expect you to earn your money through bonus, and in this climate its not going to happen.

That said, you're at the same age I started the motor trade (selling parts at a Nissan dealer), and I loved every minute of it. I'm still selling parts, and I still enjoy it! The only negative is you lose enthusiasm for cars generally as you spend your daylight hours surrounded by them.

One advantage to car sales is getting great deals for you and your family, trade ins are really cheap to you and you'll learn so much from the mechanics and other staff.

One good bit of advice I'll give is start at a small company, family business or something like that. Big franchised dealers have too many managers and jumped up idiots, the places lack passion, its all about numbers. I'm sure some of the fellow motor traders will agree with me on this one!
