Hi Bash,

best thing would be a re-map get a panel or cone air filter and a 007p dump valve you should be looking around 260 bhp and the re map would be around £300-400

status subject to change
if you are happy with 260 then a simple remap will do.

To get 280bhp odd you will need to go stage two, turbo back exhaust, (incl downpipe), stage two remap, 4bar fpr (dependant on remapper), FMIC, TIP, pipework induction /panel filter etc.
Law of diminishing returms.. cost /bhp wise.

cheers guys that does help

in the mean time i have managed to get a full turbo back magnex exhaust, just over 2.7" in diameter.

still got to get the forge valve, panel filter and fuel pressure regulator.

can anyone assist on which regulator to buy????

i was thinking of going to r tech in leicester to get my remap, looking at approx £290 for a stage 1, might even be able to squeeze a stage two map for a few quid more... we'll see how the haggling goes.

do i have to get a FMIC???

and ive never come across a TIP before, whats the purpose of this????

thanks for the advice guys

Hi Bash

For best results I recommend fitting a turbo back exhaust system, FMIC, and custom mapping.

Feel free to drop me an e-mail if you would like a package price for this :)

As mentioned though, 260hp can be achieved from a good stage 1 map. We have some members on here running the P-Torque stage 1 and have made 265hp with strong torque. We charge £265.00 all in for this, including dyno runs before and after

I was under the impression that the LCR had a 4bar FPR as standard?

and ive never come across a TIP before, whats the purpose of this????

Turbo Intake Pipe (I believe): goes from your induction kit/airbox down to the turbo. The standard ones have a habit of collasping in on themselves after a remap (same as if you were to suck the air out of a bottle), thus decreasing its diametre, therefore reducing air intake.

You can get uprated reinforced silicon ones (like a forge TIP) which prevents this happening
