my horn is going off whenever i turn the steering wheel, as if i dont attract enough attention driving a banana car this is seroiusly annoying me!

im in the process of fitting new speakers in doors so iv got door panel off (drivers side) and all window/speaker wires dangling lose, but havent touched the steering wheel (i have a momo race wheel) but never had this problem before.

could what im doign with the doors have any effect on the horn going off?

thanks, steve

yea i was thinking that as had a new dash fitted last week so would have had to have the wheel off for that, but its only started doing it since i took door apart yesterday,

a mate suggested might be because the alarm led in door is disconnected, hopefully when i finally get the door put back togehter it will be ok again!

noob question here - how do i get at the fuse box to take out the horn fuse?

cheers!

fuse box is under the steering wheel behind the tiny storage compartment.

Just give it a pull and it should unclip quite freely.

I had this problem, after a lot of rain my problem started, i jsut tookt eh horn fuse out for a few weeks. waited til it was dry for a bit then plugged back in, all sorted.

wasnt a propper beep was a broken electrical/crackle beep. i figuerd water had gotten in somewhere.
