Can anyone tell me how to get the standard arial out?

I've unscrewed it, and pulled it hard, but it won't budge!

Not understanding why people buy these honda aerials. Just snapping the squiglly end of the standard one does the trick..Looks the same, doesnt affect reception. Its free and takes 2 seconds.

Cant see it...I thought the same...As i was intending to get a honda one..and one day while cleaning, i decided to snap it off..and iv never noticed the area where the stub is gone...as its slightly recessed into the top of the aeriel. So looks the same.

I know its only £6...considering i spent nearly a grand on an intercooler..and 2 grand on wheels..£6 isnt alot..but i still dont see the point as they look exactly the same...and its perfect.

Gues its just one of those things..Each to they'r own. But id rather have 2 extra pints at the pub. lol

I'm driving to France in a few weeks with a coffin full of snowboards on the roof. Does anyone know if the S2000 aerial is short enough to fit under a roofbox?

I got fed up of awkwardly bending the aerial on my last car to squeeze under so figure £6 is money well spent if it does the trick.

Cool - have you tried using yours with a roofbox on the car?
