High Rev @ Gear Change??

My car (mk3 Ibiza Cupra) seems to rev high whilst i'm changing gear, its ok while driving normaly but when giving it some stick as i let off the accel and apply the clutch the revs go up quite a bit?

Any ideas?

If anyones interested or has the same problem. My teloscopic switch on the clucth pedal had popped out of place and so the ECU did not cut fuel when clutch was down. All sorted now

Had this myself. Was bugging me for quite a while.

I would have never of checked that plug if it wasnt for Bill and his VAG COM.
