Im not too sure wether this is the right section as my gt2x isnt really a ''Big'' turbo..

But here it goes...

I done some logs last night and im getting stupidly high timing pull and Low Maf reading a 3'' tube?

Im running Uni/ths cooler with 63mm pipe work to TB & Charge pipe...Im also running Ngk Bk7re spark plugs...
ive turned my Mbc down now so its hitting 21psi on WOT in 4th now...

i just got my 63mm mandrel bend kit to make up a custom charge pipe going down in to the wing..But is my Cooler that must to small? i know its half the volume of a forge one and half the size..

Any info would be great as i can feel it holding back top end!!!

The map is Cupra_matt/Beatties old map and was done my Star performance..so something isnt right..

something is massively wrong. and my money is on fuelling.

whip a plug out & have a look at it, see what it's like... and buy that wideband.

I'd not want to drive that at all, let alone keeping doing this data logging & high speed / high rpm runs

What map is it running on? Any timing dialed in? Pinking?

Its running on tescos 98ron fuel and always has been...

The map was done by jim @ star performance...It was Cupra_matt & beatties Ecu...so its mapped for the the setup...

I have everything for the gt2x setup that matt and Beattie had Bar a Forge FMIC.....

Could it be

Coilpack?
Plugs?
Maf
FMIC?

Mork: I aint driving it as it aint my daily driver...

whats pinking? And nope no timing dialed unless beattie did....but il ask him now..

can't be coilpack - it's not cutting out I guess.

potentially the wrong plugs? again, an inspection would give you a clue.

none of that will confirm why the airflow is so low (or appears lower than it should be)

So either the map isn't scaled to the MAF, or the wrong element has been fitted to one that the ECU is mapped for, or you have a blockage / restriction somewhere.

Just Bare with us one second mork il go and wipe a plug out...Any in paticalur?

The Ecu was mapped for a lcr 3'' maf with a ibiza element in side..But i don't think it was Re-scale But will ask matt and beattie about it...

My thoughts on the restriction would be Either my Small Ths Cooler?or pipe work even tho its all 63mm ...

but got some new 63mm mandrell bends so il fit them....and see...

Any plug should do, they're all pulling badly enough.

it might be that what you can't see inside the IC is the problem, it might be fine.

I'm fairly sure that a correctly scaled MAF should show correct airflow...

Sorry bud, im no help with this. I dont have vagcom, never did any logs or anything, just plugged it in and away i went.

took cylinder one spark plug out and there ngk bk7re plugs

so when you say hight temps dave...Is my FMIC coping with it?

Or is the temps fine and it cant just flow enough air>

Looking at 115, I'd say your mbc is set right. You could turn boost down a tad. See my comment about starting runs later. As mork said, I wouldn't be doing many runs if CFs continue to be like that.

So 3krpm to redline...

What can i do to Down the Cf's if my boost is right as it was Mapped @ 1.4bar when it was done...il turn it down abit more...

Could my tip with filter be restrictive? 2.5 atp tip with jetex filter

To make high cylinder temps is it the charge pipe or Tb side that is restrictive?
