High beam adjustment

As per usual, it seems, my headlights are utter crap. Ive adjusted the main beam lights using the dials and autolevelers however the high beams lights dont seem to be adjustable. When I got to high beam it makes no difference, it just illumintaes the trees above the car.
Its like there is a gap in the light beween the main and high. I need to move the high beam down.

Any ideas?

When adjusting the lights its the whole unit that moves not just the bulb, the high beam will be higher than the low beam as its for seeing further away therefore adifferent focal range. Have you tried going to a MOT test stantion and bunging the boys a fiver to stick your car on to see what the script is with them?
Is this car new to you?
This might point to the car being crashed at some point and the mountings for the lights being buckled

Nah main beam are ok. The high beam are just stupidly high. TBH I think its just inherint into the design.

My headlights were crap too when i bought car,they had some blue bulbs in which were fitted at factory,no joke i think candles would have been better,anyway changed dipped beam bulbs last year for some uprated ones,just normal colour which reconed to be much brighter,and they are alot better now,didnt change high beam bulbs so they are still the blue ones fitted at factory,ive found that running the headlight adjuster switch on number 2 position gives a good beam from full beam,but when you dip lights the beam is too close to car so i have made a compromise and run level switch on number 1 position,might change full beam bulbs this time see if that makes it better.Dont think the headlights were the worlds best though.

Ive got new bulbs on order. Tried to adjust them today and they are by far the worst lights Ive had on a standard car. The high beam doesnt even light up the road at all. I thought Corrados were bad!!!

Yep,full beam seems to be too high from factory,i didnt think full beam lit road up too well either,the blue bulbs that were fitted looked good but gave off really bad light.
