Hi there,
I'm from the SW and new to this forum.
Recently bought my first Seat, a 2020 Ibiza Tsi Fr 115 manual :)
Pretty happy with it so far, but looking to do some upgrades already.
Maybe I'll post some pictures, nothing spectacular though, just a black car :p

By the way, pretty weird question and out of context, but do I really have to open the bonnet to scrape off ice (not that I'd ever really get ice here, and if so I wouldn't dare to drive)?
If I try pulling the windscreen wipers up as they are, they hit the bonnet and dont lift up fully. I know there is the service position but surely that's not what you're meant to do?
I saw someone else complaining about it on their Cupra 😅
Realistically I don't need it because they don't actually sit on top of the transparent area of the windscreen, but if they're frozen in place...

Never had to open the bonnet, but just scraped the window while the blower was on max, and eased the blades off the glass gently by hand. The new design of wipers down in the well is a right pain compared to the old days, glad I'm retired now so don't bother with the car if it is all frosted up.;)
