i just joined this group after owning my SEAT LEON MK2 FR 170 for 15 years… Had it from new.
I’ve had some wonderful motoring in the car and I hope to have many more. I’ve managed 163k miles so far and counting, although it’s (over)due a new cam belt and bearing signs of wear and tear, it’s still a fantastic car.
It’s had some expensive times but on the whole has been relatively cheap to maintain, bearing in mind it gets serviced by a (non SEAT) garage for each of the mileage service intervals - you know, when that spanner appears!
Bought as a long distance commuter and a weekend fun drive, it certainly lives up to both.
