Hey guys, i dont post much, if at all but this made it worthy of a new thread! well this and a few questions.



the questions below.

1. the car has started to squeek like no tomorrow? what if anything can i spray/apply to the springs/shocks to stop it? or is it a sign of sometning more serious.

2. how often should the service light come on? "insp" has appereard every jan iv owned this car..

You checked all your bushes first?
and mine comes on every 10 thousand miles so I'd expect yours to be roughly the same

Its got an mot in a few days will that pick the noise up?

a few more questions, seeing as your being so helpful

Lowering : just a 30mm drop all round on just springs = bad? or ok for just a while?

bonnet bras : good or bad?

aero wipers : good or bad?

I had 30mm springs on mine for a few months they are good tbh. Just didn't bring the back end far enough! So I went for coilies but Dpm do a 50mm shock and spring kit that seems to be highly rated.

Bonnet bra is down to personal taste really I don't really like them to be honest.

Aero wipers are good yer. Look miles better than the scaffold that comes standard lol

or is there it ok to have them on without changing them?

Not really no. Mine were in perfect working order when I replaced them with coilies depends how low you want to go. What engine is yours?

Im not botherd bout being really low, to many pot holes in the road and to many speedhumps !

Well have a look at my readers ride tread there's some pictures of mine with the 30mm drop if you like it you can have them for 40quid they was only on a few months

how many miles on the shocks. as i can get them new at 80
