help with wireing AUTOMETER oil temp gauge

ok so like a rite noob ive lost the wireing instructions for this automeret oil temp gauge

i have all the wires in place ready to be atached to the rear of the gauge...ive had a go but just cant seem to get it rite

could some one please tell wich wire comes from where on to where if you know what i mean

You putting yours in a tapped sump plug Peachy? I've got an oil pressure gauge to fit in the blanking plug by the oil filter housing so not aware of anywhere else this second sensor could go?

Now worries. If you are fitting your sender to the blanking plug in the oil filter housing, have fun becuase you will scrape your knuckles!

yea allready done that i dint think it was that bad of a job,i just found it realy tight to get it out,,,ended up geting a 1/4" rachet on it,the old 5mm alan key just wernt man enuf thought it was gunna snap at one point

ok im trying to wire this up on the drive right now but things dont seem right

got the sender one on no probs,,,,now im takeing my earth/ground from the the bulbs earth/ground basicly ive just taped into that...is that ok? now im haveing trouble tring to find a switched ingnition where can i get this from.....i was takeing it of the blue and white wire of the bulb again but as this is the dimmer i dont think this works at all as when you move the dimmer roller upand down the needle on the gauge gos up and down...a lil help please boys and girls,............
