help with sidelight bulbs

Ive got a a 54 plate Leon FrTDi. I want to fit LED sidelights. Thing is, i only seem to see the small 501 bulbs...Mine have what looks like skinny headlight bulbs. and yes i have checked ive taken out the correct one. Can anyone help?

The leon sidelight bulbs are 501 type. All of the range use them.
The Leons sidelight bulbs are in the same part of the headlight unit as the main beam light bulb.
The bulb holder is just below the main beam bulb (grey bulb holder)

Doh! I thought that was the indicator bulb..how daft am i.. So the bulb i was refering to is the main beam then? Thanks very much for your help. Installing my HIDs this weekend. Will source some LED sidelights to match

If your having difficulty getting the sidelight out.. i used needle nosed pliers and just gave it a tug

they are notorious for being a bugger to get out

Yea they can be hard to get out the first time. I managed to get mine out by lifting up on one side untill you hear/feel a click (which releases one clip) and then pull straight out.

I got these led's in mine:-

SUPERLUX 1 WATT 180 degree viewing angle LED bulbs


BTW. Indicators are in the outside cluster of the headlight unit. The holder is sideways. Just inside the wing
