Basically, my car (Seat Ibiza FR Tdi 56) got shunted in the back last week and I've heard today, that there maybe a possible loss of the car.

Therefore.. I need to start thinking of whether to get a Petrol Car or Diesal....Hoping to stay with a SEAT, so I was thinking a Cupra petrol or a Cupra Diesal.

I do a 25 mile trip to work (Mainly daul carriage ways, 1 motorway and 20mins worth of bumper to bumper each day) and its the same 25 mile trip back home (with another 20mins worth of bumper to bumper). - Both journeys take 45mins each way.

All the rest of my milegage is basically in small distances.

I believe in my FR tdi, I was getting roughly 400 out of a tank (with a bit of fun) from doing above.

Would it be silly to even consider the petrol?

well with that much travelling to work (thats without social travelling) id probably stick with the diesel myself, mpgs the only real factor. the petrols cupra/frs are still very good but you'd only get around half the milage (200-250 a tank)

Buy mine if you like ;)

I generally get 270-280 miles before the light comes on, but I never let the light come on as I hate the loud beep it makes! So probably looking at getting 300 miles per tank out of a petrol Cupra (mines remapped revo1 as well).
I drive a lot of bumper to bumper type traffic to work daily.
