help starting problem

Ive had a problem starting my 05 1.4 sport, but its only the first start of the day and for the rest of the day it starts on the button weird ey?. I was just wondering if any one has suffered from this or heard of it. personally i think its the starter motor as the hydrometer in the battery is still green.

in what way does it not start? does it turn over on the key but not catch? or what

some people have had a faulty engine temp sensor that causes poor cold starting, the ecu thinks the engine is up to temp and doesn't compensate with the fueling
