I have been searching through the forum and cant seem to find any ting ,

I had my mk3 cupra remaped by revo on sat and was told by the bloke who done the job that it would produce over 200bhp . Funny enough when i ran it on the rollers i was only makin 180bhp . Long story short , Was told that the bog standard turbo on the car was to small .

So been searching for a place or thread on where i can get a bigger turbo from . And also wat one is best to put on the car, also planning on getting front mounted intercooler ,

so any help or sugestions where to buy would be gratefull ,

thanks every one

yeah definately, the KO3 can produce 200bhp fine. Also where did you get it on the rollers?

Like mentioned above I'd check the MAF etc. Get VAG-COM plugged in if possible!

there is a place near to where i live called talk of the devil , they just opened up . I used to have a super chip but that never made a difference to the power so went down the line of getting revo as every one seems to rate them , Is there any point in uprating the coil pack to a better one , i not got a clue lol so any ideas would be most grateful , would be nice to get the car at 200 like the revo stated . also the bloke who did the revo at fontain put the car on the vag com but did not say out being wrong ,

also this may sound stupid , but is it worth changin all the spark plugs ht leads and air mas meter , both lamba sensors . I no you can get uprated leads and spark plugs, also is this an urban mith , but i have heard if ya put the air mas meter of the cupra r leon it helps with the air flow , or is the standard one good enough

From a remap to a completly std car, you would only gain a maximum of 35-40 bhp from the std figure. You have to be aware that the car may have only been running 145 before the map and that the rollers may not be accurate.

You will only get over 200bhp with a larger bore downpipe such as a blueflame. Do not get a milltek as it will make very little difference if any compared to std.

Your best bet is to get a tuner to run some maf logs to determine if that could be the problem. Most experienced tuners will just be able to drive the car to diagnose maf faults.

You do not need a bigger turbo to see over 200 bhp. Im sure my car shows that its possible to even break the 260 mark on a std turbo!

You dont have HT leads, thats what coil packs are (you have them instead of HT leads). The standard one is good enough but you put one from a TT on if their getting a bigger turbo
