Help plz. gti cutting out

This problem started about a month ago. it doesn't happen every journey but sometimes im driving along and it just cuts out, it seems to be when i slow down to go round corners, as i slow and put the clutch in it seems to die. It will then start again with no hesitation but possibly happen about another 5 mins down the road. i changed the spark plugs. am about to change the ht leads, dizzy cap and coil pack. Not to sure whether this will cure the problem tho. any ideas plz

No probs, quite a common problem
