Any help would be greatly appreciated people
De icing car last night and leaned slightly on mirror of my 1.9 tdi and CRACK .... Mirror floppy as now and looks like its only held on by the wiring .... The mirrors have never felt like they are even supposed to fold in manually, which to me is strange as every car I have ever owned they have ..... On closer inspection it is obvious the aluminum bracket has snapped inside, BUT I have just had a quick look with the torch and it looks like its a two piece aluminum bracket which probably once folded but has corroded and seized together? Am I right ? P.s. There isn't a switch which folds mirrors in ..... Would have taken the mirror off today but there's two inches of snow on the ground and its not got above 1* today
