Help please engine managment light is on

just went out in the cupra and after 15 mins - 20 mins of driving it felt strange . went into shop came out started it up and drove down road engine managment light came on and lack of power . making a nocking sound when idle . what could this be??

Lucky dip guess...coil pack?

You need to get it on vag com to pin point the fault.

Where is the knocking sound coming from?

front engine sonds like the bottom left not sure. im so angry i have only just bought it! havent been thrashing it or nothing. how can i find out if its coil packs . if it is how much to fix? just to say very lack of power when drove back home.

Could be a tensioner/alternator?

Ask someone local to vag com it, does it sound like it's missing?

The engine might be missing, that will make it rough and give you reduced "pull"

dosent sound missing. how much is it for a vag com test

A dealer is 50+ (not sure exactly) but if you ask nicely in the vag-com area on here you might get lucky.

update about my problem. i deffenatly would say its missing. plus when i put clutch in the nockin noise goes when put clutch out a nocking noise appears
