you could get it welded, or brazed, braze is easier and cheap but not so reliable, welding is expensive(relatively) as it needs special rods and a very good welder maybe £60 I had one done on a Renault and it;s lasted approx 5 years so far best of luck
you could try put a bit of chemical metal on it spread it on generously over the crack,it does work as we done it in work on one of the boys' peugeot as he didnt want to spend money on it
