help on rear aaro wiper fitment...

Can anybody tell me how to make my lupo gti rear wiper work..

i) without the cap popping off every time you use it
ii) without the squirter just hitting the cap (even before it pops off) and hense not wetting the screen at all
iii) without the plastic arm screaching against the screen

Any comments very, very, very much appreciated as I have got so pissed off with this wiper today its untrue!

If these problems can't be resolved I wouldn't recomend anyone to do this mod.

you have to sand the cap down as the reason it pops off is that its a bit big and hits the glass at the top before the clips engage.

the instructions were written for my mk 4 ibiza but the same would apply.

as for the squirter, you prob need to adjust the angle, get a pin in the hole and you can change the direction.

I was adjusting the squirter for about an hour mate!

I may try and pull the thread/quirter out a couple of mm, maybe that'll work.

well fitting the cap will be solved by my instructions, as for the squirter im not sure as for the ibiza it was ok.

I know yours did, that's why I got the lupo wiper! Things are never simple when I do it.

Thanks mate, the cap doesn't pop off anymore. I was suprised at how much needed to be trimmed though....and it has mostly solved the squirter problem too, at least most of it hits the screen now!

Still got a bit of plastic on glass screaching but I should be able to stop that with a bit of sanding.
