HELP NEEDED! limp mode!

Ok my car seems really weird when it begins to boast hard it starts to bonce and stutter and sometimes it will go into limp mode!

Last night when over taking a car it went into limp mode! As you can guess the car really isnt feeling safe!

Get it checked by someone with vag com.

was checked and cleared by VAG TECH the thought it might be to do with the spring in the dump valve as i believe the bypass was done on one of the valves before i got the car. Which is ment to make the car run smoother!

Its also running a J valve i was told by the old owner that it could be something to do with this!

You mention VagTech, I know those guys quite well...they are REVO dealers, so I assume you got REVO?
You also mention a J Valve... REVO was written for use with the F Valve... J valve can cause LIMP mode...

Its not revo'ed its running an apsolute chip, Forge front mount, K03S etc etc I beleive its the J valve thats in there (thats what the old owner said).
I had a lupo GTI and was always at VAG TECH before i trust them, i have just ordered a full miltek eshaust from them too for the cupra!! There great lads Greg and Jon always go out of there way to help!

Yeah they are, when you go up, find out if Greg has an N75F on his Ibiza, do a swap and see if it solves it?

Not a bad idea at all, i dont think there open today will have to pop over tomorrow! I have another N75 not sure what one it is might swap it over tonight and see if it solves the problem! The car just doesnt seem happy at the moment! And its driving me mad! I hate the way it bounces about on full boast at times! And when it goes into limp mode its bloody dangerous!

On the bottom plate of the N75 is a row of numbers, and a letter at the end, C F or J...

They are open today as Flashy is going to pick up his car lol

Sounds like your J valve is at fault from what you've said...

i thought they are closed on a monday? Ill pop over there at lunch see what i can do! ill give them a call first.

I think the spare i have is a C!

Just got an email from the last owner it is deffently a J valve thats fitted, he also did the 249 bypass at the same time!

F's replaced the C's... you can't buy C's anymore I don't believe, it was an upgrade by SEAT...

But some cars run with C's still, so it'll be good to swap it in...

Ok now have the F in thanks Jon and Greg for letting me try one! its not over boasting now and not going into limp mode but on full boast (which seems to be less than with the J in) its bouncing still!
Jon has ordered me a service and spring kit for the dump valve! Its like it cant hold boast!


Any ideas?
