Hi guys.. Me again.. lol
Right, was out in the tank earlier and after giving my car a little tickle in 2nd, to about 5000rpm. I changed for 3rd and it wouldn't go in... Not only that, it wouldn't go in any gear at all... After coasting down the DC and holding traffic up, I finally managed to get it into 5th and managed to limp home (nearly).. Whilst it was in 5th, I tried the clutch slipping test (40mph, foot down) and everything seemed fine... BUT! The clutch peddle has gone very slack and also sticks on the way back up once I lift my foot off.. Plus once i'd stopped, I tried to put it back in gear, with no joy to start, but then I got it into 2nd, to be greeted with the car kangarooing down the road (even with the clutch fully down) as if the clutch wasn't engaging for some reason..
I'm thinking it maybe some sort of hydraulic problem, possible master cylinder? But i'm no mechanic.. Can someone shed any light on the problem...?
Yours faithfully..
