Help leon throwing up codes 17705/16795

Hi newbie here just bought my first seat leon cupra 1.8t 04 plate had it a week then lost boost turn car off then back on and its fine for a while then does the same I had it on a vag scanner and codes 17705 P1297 Connection turbocharger - throttle valve pressure hose and 16795 P0411 Sec.Air Inj.Sys. Incorrect Flow Detected comes up. As far as I am aware its standard apart from a k&n and a adjustable forge DV with a remap any ideas what I need to change to fix it as I got beat off the lights by an 80yr old woman in a C reg merc :/ very inbarassing.????

Car has only done 95k with fsh

Cleaned throttle body out checked all pipes and still doing it ANYBODY help???

Any air leaks in your boost system? i.e can you hear a leak when you pull away?

Hiya mate I heard one yesterday when I cleaned my throttle body out put I think that was down to the dump valve so I adjusted it a bit and carnt hear it now but still throwing these codes up the car doesn't run rough or anything just drives normal but without the use ov the turbo until you turn car off start back up then drives mint for a while :/

It sounds like the issue im having with my cupra r! Your car must be going in limp mode!
Have you inspected all the vacuum lines as these are notorious for failing?
Ive traced mine to the MAP sensor reading incorrect...Id say get some actual values from someone with a VAG system dude!

I bought a scanner the other day but think it only tells me codes and reset warning lights ect but yeh will do mate will have another look on here and see if anyone close by can have a look for me. Cheers anyway pal hope u get your sorted out aswell

Help still needed anyone Still having the same problem and checked everything but if I put a pic up ov my engine bay could someone tell me whats been done I.e there's pipes missing blanked off ect and 2 sensors near the dip stick the pipes have been removed? Also there's a k&n on and the pipe than goes to the standerd air box has got a filter pushed in there would any ov this cause the problem and what ever els u see under my bonnet?

aha yeah it worked bud! Had a look, there is a lot that has been changed there!
I thing someone has done the n249 bypass, hense the odd vacuum line missing! Is that a forge splitter DV?? I have heard those DVS arnt as good as the forge 007 or 008!
To test the DV remove it and manually push the piston up and hold you thumb over the vacuum nipple! When you let go of the piston is shouldn't close, it will move a little bit tho! If the piston completely returns, then the DV is at fault!
Other than that mate you need to get it pressure tested, see if there is a leak anywhere in the boost system! Mine turned out to be the MAP Sensor reading incorrectly!

Sound mint mate will check the dv tomoz and yeh I heard the 007 ones are loads better with a yellow spring inside so will order one and see how it goes and it's booked in next week for a smoke test so will keep you informed if any leaks. Just strange tho as the car ticks over mint and drives mint till it does that but again perfect engine wise just loss ov boost till I turn car off then back on :/ really is a head blag but will see what comes from the smoke test. Do you no anything about this vag com thing someone told me I just need the wire off eBay then go on my laptop and plug it in to the some test? Sounds far 2 straight forward that lol

I went with a forge 007 and have had no issues! They need servicing every now and then but you can get service kits from forge ! Keep us updated bud! The reason you get your boost back after you switch the engine off and on again..to me it sounds like the car is in limp mode, it holds back the PSI to protect the engine...that's why it feels slow ! I only fixed mine last week and im in love with it again ahaha! I have the BAM engine the 225bhp its rapid! I hope you get it sorted dude!
I don't know a lot about buying VAGCOM, you are better off looking through other threads dude! I was thinking of getting the software but not sure where to start lol!

No probs will do pal and mines suppose to be remapped to 230 bhp it leaves standard ones and subs when av got traction but no proof ov it tho but once this is sorted am getting a fmic de cat ect then another remap but just want this annoying problem sorted first lol so yeh will keep you posted pal or if your ever passing West Yorkshire give us a shout and u can have a good look under my bonnet

Cant be going wrong with 230 dude ! The FMI looks awesome that's def summit im going to be looking into along with a stainless system!
Yeah sounds awesome bud, Like wise if you ever venture down to the southcoast then give us a shout, be good to see what other owners have done to there motors !

Don't think its possible 230 out ov my engine tho with just a k&n and dv tho lol but does goes well tho and yeh just realised were ya from lol it's not just 2 mins down the road aha but ya never no we might just pass each other day and hopfully I will be in front just to show u you don't need a cupra r lol ( I wish ) haha take care bud and will keep you updated. Alright pal well i found a split pipe under the inlet so changed that and also bought a forge 007p dv and im still getting the 17705 code and limp again :/
