If you look carefully at the picture you can see that The second fuse from the left has broken and has manually put back together, This connection when loose will cause my power steering light to come on and my steering to become very heavy. however when attempting to put them together today after the light had come on I had snapped one of the ends so I will need a new part but I do not know what they are called and cannot find what I am looking for anyone can help me

I don't get why it won't fit ! just undo the nut with the wire on, put the fuse between the nut(you have just undone) and the other post, and put the wire back on where the post is (just look how the rest are done)

I've assumed in the past that that would be the answer as it was possible, but maybe now there is no longer a bolt at the "opposite end" ie under the main fuse link above that area. Removing that main fuse link above the hidden ends of these fuses would prove if fitting a discrete fuse is possible or not.

Having a closer look at the picture fuse "3" is also blown so that might be your real problem

Which I was willing to believe was what was being described as "second from the left", so what he already knows is a problem.
He obviously doe not know his left from his right, but vooming in I can now see the predicament to adding a new fuse, but would have to look at the set up of the fuse box its self and to see if it can be drilled and a bolt fitted to put a nut and add the correct fuse

6R0937548C (the whole "box") or 6R0937629 (just the metal part), I replaced the whole box years ago

power steering is the broken one. (4th from the left), blue in the pic below (because I replaced that wire years ago)

the second one from the left should not be placed there connected directly to the battery without fuse unless you wanna put your car on fire... I think that one should be on 5

Judging by the image I think you can do this, although I dont take any responsabilities in eventual problems as this kind of work its better done by electrician or anyone that knows what he is doing:

- move the one you have outside the fuses to the second from the right
- move the power steering one to the first from the right

another tip, when doing anything on electrical wires you should always have the negative terminal disconnected from the battery!
