On my Sport i believe there is a ten mm bolt down on the bottom right of the air box as you're looking at it. Then a rubber bit at the back but you just give the box a forking good tug up and it should come off. If you have a strut brace you will need to remove this first....

yeah mate I took the bolt out, unscrewed the air intake pipe but thats proving to be a pain in the @ss to come out, I really cant see how I can take it out without braking something or snapping one of the airbox mounts which i wanna try and avoid. It was proper doing my head in trust SEAT to make things difficult, or im just thick lol.

Yeh it's much harder with the Cupra intake pipe, all other models have a smaller intake pipe and it bends a lot easier and there's a lot more room....

Like i say, i think just give it a damn good jug. It's like a V shaped rubber that goes over a peg in the engine bay. When replacing the air box it goes with a bit of thud. If I were you i'd just give it a decent yank! just don't blame me if anything does break! Might be better to ask a Cupra owner, just incase they're different for some reason!

Cupra airbox is tight .. but yes a peg+rubber at the back and one or two bolts at the front.. getting the cold air intake bit from the front grill off is a bit of a wiggle too..
