Im a little stuck here ive got a serious problem with a relay.Essentially i had a problem with my engine cutting out whilst driving , it only happened after it had got warm i switched it off for 5 minutes and then started it again.I ended up taking it to a vw/audi specialist who after cleaning the throttle body, replaced the ecu relay and then came up with the supposed problem a 'worn out' fuel pump relay. So once they changed that relay it was running fine....for the whole of two weeks....! Its driving me insane anybody got any ideas as its also starting to cost me a fortune.I think its still a relay problem as im getting a clicking as its cutting out from the fuse/relay box but have no idea why the relays burning out so quickly...!

2nd poster: its hiding with all the other relays! (in the little glove box down by the drivers side) I cant remember which number it is off the top of my head but i'm sure someone will, mine went a bit iffy for ages...Used to give it a bit of a wiggle and it'd work again, been replaced now an no issues since ;)

OP: If its still the relay you could try getting a new one and fitting it yourself (i think they're about £12 or something from the stealers) if not take it back!
