Hi wondering if you guy's could throw bit of light on my problem. Did the N249 bypass yesterday and now have 2 warning lights on the dash. 1 is the number 13 in the manual which say's it is Diagnosis*/Excess of polution, the other is 18 in the manual which say's its ESP. Now i have had a stuttering when cold problem with the car which i thought was a shagged MAF so have unplugged that which made the car run smooth again so i am sure that accounts for the ESP light as it goes back off after a while if i plug it back in but runs all stuttery again but has anyone else had this other diagnosis*/excess of pollution light come on after doing the N249 bypass? And if so why?

Sounds like the maf could be dead if the car runs fine with it unplugged, and the ESP light is on normally means the maf dead.

the pollution light would need looking at a bit more as this could be any thing.

maybe take the battery off for a few mins and see if this clears the light

Yeah i think the maf is defo a gonner, unplugged it to see how it ran after reading few threads on the same sort of problem and it runs fine with it unplugged and stuttery again when re attached. The car does run very smooth again now just the 2 warning lights. might go and plug maf back in and re connect battery for bit. How long does it take to reset itself?
